Who owns tna 2010

Why not. Wolfe Nigel McGuinness was probably the best signing they made all year. It felt more like Savage vs. Flair on microphones than Lethal vs. AJ in the ring. Jeff Hardy and Anderson went over the still.. And in the main event.. RVD beat Sting in less than 11 minutes. We went from Angle vs. AJ in minute classics, to RVD vs. Sting in little over ten mins.

And do you know what the big surprise was? It was Tommy Dreamer. Yep, all that hype for Dreamer. Victory Road gave me some hope things would improve. There was potential, but it mostly fell flat. Probably the only good part of the show was Motor City Machine Guns beating Beer Money to claim the tag team titles after The Band was forced to vacate them due to legal issues with Scott Hall.

And to add fuel to the fire, they decided to do an ECW-reunion show. The main event was scheduled to be RVD vs. Jerry Lynn, but Lynn was injured and was replaced by Sabu. RVD retained his title in a ladder match against Abyss in the main event. After this, RVD was forced to vacate the title due to a storyline injury sustained at the hands of Abyss.

To build to Bound For Glory they announced a tournament to decide who would challenge for the vacant title at the event. BFG sported the tagline of The angle had built for sometime and there was a lot of intrigue.

The event was arguably their best PPV of the year, with a mix of good and bad. Mickie James joined the Knockouts Division and worked as a special referee in a four corners match which saw Tara walk away with the title.

Doug Williams failed to gain back his title from Jay Lethal. Due to the time limit draw, it was announced the match for the TNA World title would be a triple threat between Mr.

Anderson, Kurt Angle and Jeff Hardy. Anderson seemed to be the favourite to win among fans. And as triple threats go, it was the best of the year. After many near-falls, Bischoff and Hogan came down to the ring seemingly on opposite sides. Hardy had his infamous match, coming to the ring under the influence to face Sting.

Hogan wrestled the final match of his career against Sting in a unique attraction for TNA. Fans were invested in the story of a veteran Angle having one final run at the top. There was another feel-good story of Matt Hardy winning the title as a face, with his family celebrating at Bound for Glory. TNA had many struggles with the television deals up in the air, but they did survive. The year ended with an underrated story of Jeff Hardy winning the TNA World Championship from Aries, as a face seeking redemption after coming back from rehab.

AJ Styles also witnessed a drastic change after being off television for months. The new darker look with longer hair and a beard added an edge to Styles when winning the title from Bully. Taryn Terrell was the most unexpected breakout star of , having a couple of classic matches with Gail Kim.

The rebranding helped set up a great for Impact Wrestling. Tessa Blanchard wrestling male competitors and becoming a contender for the Impact World Championship was a great story, until the controversy came in Backstage, the producers shuffled the schedule so that some non-wrestling segments went first to give the ring crew some more time, but they did not have many of them. The ring crew fixed the rope with the help of Ron Harris and Don Harris , and everyone went live hoping for the best.

Xplosion resumed airing exclusive matches billed as "Xplosion Xclusives" once more on October 7, in addition to recapping Impact!. The transition included the use of a six-sided wrestling ring, the implementation of the "Fox Box" displaying competitors and timekeeping for the match, and a generally more sports-like style than the sports entertainment style exemplified by the WWE.

The television contract with Fox Sports expired in May and was not renegotiated, leaving TNA without television exposure.
