A rewards room, where contestants were sent as a prize for winning challenges, now features torn wallpaper and a green-tinged spa. The diary room, where housemates would confess their secrets for hundreds to watch, is leaking, dingy and covered in shattered glass. The entire home has seen better days, its tattered interior captured by MuiTube, an Australian YouTuber who films abandoned buildings. Six children are being questioned by police after the Big Brother House was engulfed in flames.

Fire crews were called to the abandoned TV set when smoke started billowing into the air from the back of the Dreamworld theme park. Footage uploaded to social media shows the dense smoke overwhelming the area.

Motorists have been urged to avoid the area as firefighters look to bring the blaze under control. Local residents are being urged to keep their doors and windows closed if the smoke starts becoming an issue.
